PULP GOSS: Jacky He Bravely Takes a Political Stance and Council is CANCELLED

By Pulp Goss

We were treated to a short and sweet council yesterday evening, with the meeting declared a WHS issue and closed within an hour of starting by Secretary to Council Julia Robins. Why, you ask? Because of some very naughty student representatives causing a fuss over procedural motions.

As a result, our comrades at Honi Soit could not pass the resignation of a former editor and the election of a new one, leaving Amelia Mertha unpaid for a further month. Newly elected Board Director Nick Forbutt (NLS) will be forced to endure another month as an SRC councillor, and it’s now highly unlikely that the proposed regulation changes will be passed either.

In other news, Jacky He clearly learnt something on his student funded trip to a University conference in Dublin, typing the following into a word document, projected onto a large screen, after an argument with members of SAlt and NLS:

We weren’t privy to the details of the conversation that prompted this particularly unhinged outburst, but wager that no amount of context would make this behaviour any less strange. Pulp understands that He was thoroughly chastised by both Gabbi Stricker-Phelps (Shake-Up) and Niamh Callinan (Unity) and erased the text shortly afterward. The future of Australian politics is looking bright indeed.
